Substreak has transitioned to an infrastructure role. Automated reward distributions continue on schedule, and the integration APIs remain live so dependent systems can continue retrieving reliable Substrate data. The Telegram bot interface has been wound down.
Why the Telegram bot was retired
The Telegram bot let users hold balances and transact through a Substreak-managed wallet, which placed the platform on a path toward custody. The bot was retired to avoid that outcome.
nimimo addresses this differently — fully non-custodial. It is a web application rather than a Telegram bot, and supports Enjin as a preferred custom chain. Each account begins with a default handle such as smart-fox and an editable profile at nimimo.com/@smart-fox; handles can be upgraded later. NFT functionality is already available, with further capabilities in development.
